Natasha has worked at our school for over 10 years. During this time she has lead our choir – entering and winning competitions with them, played an instrumental role in production of all school plays and talent shows, delivered Musical theatre within our curriculum and delivered peripatetic singing lessons. She has provided bespoke full days of ‘Music’ and ‘Drama’ within our annual MAD (Music Art and Drama week) linked to whatever our theme is. So for example when we used Roald Dahl as a theme she planned and delivered workshops based on ‘Matilda’ the Musical.
“A strength of the school is the opportunities that staff have to discuss learning and be creative in the way they teach. As a result, leaders have created a culture of enthusiasm and innovation. For example, ‘Fantastic Friday’ is an opportunity for pupils and teachers to work in different groups across the school in a creative way, bringing together different subjects and offering pupils fun experiences and novel ways of learning”.
Ofsted 2017 – outcome Outstanding
Natasha has a Musical Theatre background having worked in the West End for many years, this experience brings expertise that is second to none. My staff watch with awe and wonder as she not only inspires the children but brings a real ‘magic’ into learning. Some of our children don’t have the opportunities to experience going to the theatre and watching a musical. The way in which Natasha shares her knowledge, expertise and experiences provides for these children ‘broader development opportunities’, enabling them to develop and discover their interests and talents far beyond what we as a school could ever have imagined.
I would highly recommend Natasha to any school. From my perspective she enables me as a Head to provide effective high quality provision for cultural development and opportunities for my pupils to develop their talents and interests through her teaching and learning experiences which are of an exceptional quality. She helps me meet many aspects the Ofsted ‘Cultural Capital’, judgement linked to the quality of education.
